Since Aden's birthday is at the end of October we decided to have a Halloween themed party for him. On Martha Stewart's website it had the instructions to make this super cute bat pinata, easy enough right? Not easy at all, well it was easy just time consuming and my little helper here (Trey) got tired of putting glue and paper on very quickly so that left a big job for me...and I did not even get a good picture of the finished product...so sad.
Here is Trey filling up the bat with candy and other little toys, after we had the bat filled I attached the head and then Junior made the Wings out of black poster board paper it turned out very cute but we decided that next time we will just pay the $10 for one at the store. There is my little birthday boy dressed as Mickey Mouse. Last year Aden did not really know who Mickey Mouse was, but this year he LOVES him! So he loves looking at his birthday pictures and seeing himself as Mickey Mouse he finds it quite funny.
Springville has this amazing pumpkin patch that has a little petting zoo, a hey maze, and a pit filled with corn that the kids can play in. When we went to pick our pumpkins I snapped this picture of Aden and thought it was perfect for his invites.
My amazing cousin Erica came to help me set up. She was such a huge help I really don't think we could have pulled it off with out her. THANK YOU ERICA!
Here is the buffet table, now that I see it I wish I would have put the banner closer together coming from the middle but what can you do. My mom has beautiful autumn dishes that she let me use and they went beautifully with the decor.
My seven layer bean dips with a sour-cream spider web on them turned out super cute.
There are some of our little friends, Orlando and Leila.
My mom did a Halloween cookie decorating activity with the kids and it seemed to be a hit all the kids were able to decorate their own cookie.
We had so many cute kids and every character you could think of.
There is Ruachel, Sadie, and Ethan. Pinkalicious sooo cute!
Dave, Rachell, and their little pumpkin Elisha...and cookies! They were they best dressed pirates in the whole party!
Aden enjoying his birthday cupcake. At Trey's 1st birthday he would not even touch the cake he did not want anything to do with it, but Aden had no problem digging right in.
Happy 1st birthday Aden we love you! We had so much help from all of our friends cleaning up we really appreciate you all! I love Aden's face in this picture he is such a cute little mouse.
There is our batman. Trey was the best batman ever he would stay in character the whole time while wearing his costume. He loved being batman.
