I Thank God For You
Trey is so wonderful he has such a fun personality he keeps me laughing all day. I had to run outside to grab something from the car so I told Trey "Your in charge, make sure Aden is okay" his eyes gleamed and he smiled and responded "I'm in charge" with a certain authority in his voice. I said "Only until I get back" and he smiled and looked over at Aden. I was a little afraid of what I might find when I got back so I ran really fast.
He amazes me how smart he is. His vocabulary is incredible, he uses words like: perhaps, otherwise, serious, impressed, certainly, otherwise, and some Portuguese words that Junior has taught him. At preschool he learned about spiders and colored a spider picture. After Trey was through coloring he went to show his picture to his teacher and said "Look I learned about spiders my mommy is going to be so proud of me" I could not be more proud!
One of Trey and Aden's most favorite activities during the summer was to go feed the ducks, and fish at Grandpa's work. My dad works for Flowserve which is located in Springville, lucky for us:-) There is a warm springs where many many duck live all year long and lots of huge fish live in the water and it is right outside my dads work. So we were able to take my dad lunch and feed the ducks it was so much fun!
Junior made good use of his karate belt and laundry basket and Trey had no complaints.
Aden is so delightful, he is always so energetic! He is such a good walker and he loves his big brother.
Aden found out how to crawl under his walker and thought that was an amazing place to be.
Trey drawing on the stairs right outside our condo door...............
Trey thought it was a bit too cold outside but still wanted to draw.....thus the spider man slippers and jacket.
Trey then thought it was too warm for slippers and a jacket.....story of my life....dress them, undress them, dress them, and before I turn around they are undressed again! Ya gotta love them!
Daddy loves spending time with his boys!
Mommy loves spending time with her boys too! And I am so grateful that I have a wonderful husband who is willing to go to work everyday to make it possible for me to stay home with our precious boys! Thank you Junior I love you!
Bubble beards! Trey discovered the magic of bubbles on your face:-)
Apparently his dinosaur needed a bubble beard as well.
Trey loves holding Aden and Aden is totally content, he just sits there.
For Thanksgiving we did a craft and Trey loved learning about the pilgrims and Indians.
Trey loves doing stamps, he is so cute. Everyday he asked me what activity we are going to do today. So anytime I go to any craft store I look through their clearance item and try to find some things that I think Trey would enjoy doing and most importantly keep him busy for a little while :-)
Like I said that kid loves to hold his brother!
Now those are some good looking boys! Already to terrorize the kolob 11th ward
When Trey was around one year old we bought this book with a cd in it. Whenever we would put it on Trey would stop crying and listen to the music. well lately he wants us to play it anytime we go anywhere and he sings the entire song along with the music the lyrics are as follows: I thank God for a brand new day, for the smile I see when we laugh and play.
I thank God we play peek-a-boo. And I thank God for you!
I thank God for the rustling leaves, For the tiny bird and the bumblebees.
I thank God for our dog named Lou. And I thank God for you!
I thank God we can take a ride, or swing so high and go down the slide.
I thank God for the sky so blue. And I thank God for you!
I thank God for good food to eat-like pumpkin pie! Oh, what a treat!
I thank God for green apples, too. And I thank God for you!
I thank God for the chimpanzees and owls hiding in the trees.
I thank God for the great big zoo. And I thank God for you.
I thank God for the lovely shade, and when we drink homemade lemonade.
And I thank God wen we barbecue. And I thank God for you!
I thank God for your teddy bear, and when we sit in my rocking chair.
And I thank God for your eyes so blue. And I thank God for you.
I thank God for our snuggle time, for the way I sing you a lullaby.
I thank God, oh yes it's true, thank I tank God for you.
I love this song I am going to print it and frame it because it is exactly how I feel about my little Trey bear. Lately every time he sings it, he asks me to make him pumpkin pie :-)
