Valentines Day

This was the best Valentines day ever! It started with the night before while Trey was sleeping we created a little surprise for him. We put several toys for him in a bag and made a trail of rose petals leading him to the surprise. During the night he woke up wanting to go to the bathroom (all by himself :-) and saw the petals and said "look flowers" so Junior had to tell him that he would have to go back to sleep if he wanted his Valentines surprise. It happened that it was the worst night ever, Trey and Aden kept waking up. Junior and I really only slept like two hours. In the morning when Junior's alarm went off I knew he would have a rough day, but I just went to sleep. So when Trey woke up and then woke me up I saw that Junior was still in bed, he was not feeling well. I told Trey that someone left a Valentines gift for him, Junior and I got up following after him to see his reaction.

He was so delighted with his surprise! I really should have thought it through a little better though. He loves suckers, so I put one in there with his other toys and Trey thought he needed it before breakfast. He is so funny he says "I'm excited" and danced around loving the flowers and the whole mushy day!

I expected the rose petals leading to Trey's room, I did not expect however the pink bubble wrap leading to the front room. I was shocked...when could he have done this? So here is a virtual tour of what my wonderful Valentines morning had in store for me...

Check out the decor...all Junior, how great is he? I could not believe my eyes, he thought of everything. Flowers, sparkling cider, chocolate, balloons, hearts I could not have been more impressed

Over to the left, more Valentines day surprise! Lots of my favorite things to eat...I love that man

So pay attention to the note leaning up against the champagne  glasses. This is a sweet note my romantic husband left for me, while he expressed his love for me, he also left a clue to find the next surprise... a scavenger hunt! I was so excited! I had just watched the Valentines day Office episode the night before (because Aden was not sleeping) and Aron's boy sent her on a scavenger hunt and I thought how much fun that would be. Junior did not watch the episode with me, he thought up this all on his own...I was so excited!

My first heart was found in the freezer, inside every heart there was a piece of chocolate and a memory that he had from our first valentines, second, and so on to the sixth heart and memory.How creative is that?

Not only did I get to go on a scavenger hunt, but he made one for Trey as well. Don't mind the saggy morning diaper, he was far too excited to waste time getting his diaper changed :-).  You would not believe how excited he was to find all of his hearts.

There is one of my hearts hidden in with my make up. The clues were relatively easy but I had a hard time finding some of them. I wanted to take my time as well because I was having so much fun I did not want it to be over. 

And there is Aden hanging out on the bed while all this Valentine fun was going on. Notice him chewin on his bottom lip. This is his new favorite thing to do, along with choking himself from putting his fingers down his throat. He is such a good baby.

And there are all my hearts and memories that Junior made for me. I have to say, this is my favorite Valentines Day by far. It was so fun to share the day with not only the love of my life, but my sweet little children. It was a treat to spend the whole day with Junior and the kids, we had a wonderful day!

There is Junior and I, don't mind the fact that I have no makeup on. It was a beautiful morning and I had to show how excited I was about the thoughtful surprise Junior made for me.

And I had to have a picture of the man who made this all happen. The love of my life, my sweet heart, my best friend, my Valentine. I love you Junior!
