Longest Post Ever!

I know that I already did a Valentines Day post but I had to show pictures of Trey frosting his heart cookies that we had on Valentines Day. He was very excited for this project but after two cookies he was done. This surprised me because I thought he would have been entertained with this for at least five or six cookies.

Elaine and Eden came over and frosted cookies with us. We were happy to share our Valentine's Day fun with them. Trey likes having company over to show off for, especially when it is "pitty girls". He is so funny he believes that when people are over it is his job to entertain them. It makes it hard when visiting teachers come over, he does not want us talking while he is running around the room doing all sorts of tricks.
More cookes. Look at his face, he is concentrating very hard on keeping the frosting on  the cookie. He may be a little OCD about that sort of thing. When he is eating and gets crumbs on the floor he has to have them cleaned up right away before he can finish his meal in peace. He does not like to walk in the mudd and get his shoes dirty (This may have stemmed from his "mudd incident" but none the less mudd is not a friend.)
Ahh now that is a face that I could just eat up! He is such a happy little guy. He will just be staring at me with this sweet smile on his face, and then I will start talking to him and he just glows. He starts kicking his feet and tries to talk to me. Moments like this make life so worth while. I just love being able to stay home with my boys and share all of the good times, frustrating times, sad, angry, overwhelmed, and priceless memories that I get to make with them everyday. I hope that when they are older and have children of their own they will remember some of the wonderful memories that we made together.
Aden just loves his fingers! He will just be entertained with his fingers for the longest time. He will put one finger in at a time as well and just chew, I love to watch how excited to gets about his fingers.
There is the little mamma of mine. She is such a dear woman, she sure helps me out a lot and I am lucky to live near enough to see her often.
So he only did this for a couple days, but he would put his two fingers in his mouth and fall asleep while sucking on them. I thought it was the cutest thing ever! We decided not to do the while binky thing because it was just another thing to ween him off of; but he sure seems to like the sucking motion while he is sleeping.
Both Junior and Trey prefer to have the crusts taken off their bread (and when I say prefer I mean demand). So we same them and when the bag gets full we feed the ducks. Well it was time to feed the ducks and this time it was pretty warm weather so I thought Aden would like to be outside as well. So there he is all bundled up ready to go. The adorable hat he is wearing was given to me for Trey from Gentri...so thank you Gentri it has kept my two boys nice and warm :-) And there is Trey of course, super excited to see the ducks. He takes his job of carrying the bread very seriously.
I just love that little button nose. He is so aware of everything going on around him. He really makes my day so great just seeing his smiling face.
There is my little Trey feeding the ducks. He will throw the bread so far for the ducks and they swim to get it. He then will put it by his feet and when the ducks come up on the ground to get the bread he will run over and scare them away. He has so much fun feeding the ducks. He discovered blow pop suckers (as you can see in his mouth) and he thinks they are the most wonderful thing invented. He gets it down to the gum and then throws it away (thank goodness). He was on a sucker kick for about three days, now we have a bunch of suckers and don't know what to do with them.
Junior is such a good daddy, he takes such good care of Trey. He makes sure Trey gets plenty of one on one time with him. When Trey wakes up in the morning he says "Where is my popa, where is my popa's hug?" It is so funny because we have no idea where he got popa from he just started calling Junior that. He is such a daddies boy.He will follow Junior around everywhere and when he hears Junior put the key into the door when he comes home from work, Trey will start running to the door so excited to see "Popa".  Junior really makes Trey feel special, he will remember things that Trey will say throughout the week and then make sure that Trey will have what he was asking for. It is great for Trey to have such an involved dad, he really enjoys the attention.
Ducks, Bread, and a trusty blow pop....what more could a guy ask for?
There is still plenty of bread waiting to be thrown to the ducks, but Trey is just enjoying the scenery. He like to watch the ducks go for the bread and then eat it up.
Me and my boys I sure love those two. They keep my life interesting. Everyday there is something new they are doing that just makes me laugh. I thank Heavenly Father for letting me have them in my life.
