Christmas and Superheros!

This year since Rachell just had her baby she invited all of us over to her house for Christmaseve dinner. Dinner was super yummy! I made my yearly cheeseball and crackers but this year I tried out some new pies which were, keylime and cheesecake. I was so excited for my new pies, but from the looks of the amount of pie gone, they were not very good :-( Aden seems to get bellyachs from dairy (just like Trey) so I did not get to try any of the items that I brought but I filled up on stuffing, mashed potatoes, and rolls.Junior was feeling kind of sick so he missed out on all the good food, poor guy! After dinner we read the Nativity and then loaded up to see the festival of lights. Trey loved the lights, he watched all the differet things in pure delight, that was so much fun! After the lights we went home to get ready for Santa to come. I got the three boys in bed, since Junior was not feeling well he went to bed with the boys and I started getting the house cleaned and the rest of the presents wrapped. Junior joined me after a little while and we finished getting everything ready and went to bed.

Christmas morning was so much fun to see Trey connecting all the new presents to Santa coming. He was very excited about his tool bench and dinosaur castle, but he was not too excited to open the other presents very much. Trey finally opened the rest of his presents, but he would not leave his tool bench, he even ate his breakfast right by it. After presents and breakfast we went to great-grandma and grandpa's house and then off to my mom and dad's house. Junior gave me a sewing machince which I was so excited about, there are a million projects I have been wanting to do! Christmas was a success, Trey loved his gifts!

So this is so funny, Trey came out of his room with Junior's safety glasses and snow boots on. He told us he was Iron man, he then told Junior that he was batman. Junior took Trey into his room and they came out looking like this. Trey has the Iron man sound effects down to the T. Junior is such a good sport (I think he may even enjoy being a superhero :-). We had a fun Christmas break, with Iron man running around all over the place.
